Easter is always a busy time with lots of celebrations and egg hunts to go to. This year was no different. We went to an Easter Activity for the kids at church were the kids learned about what it took to build the Nauvoo temple and then they were able to make temples out of Cardboard boxes. The kids really enjoyed this. One of the women told the kids the story about how the pioneer women gave up their china to be broken up to use on the temple walls to make it shiny. She had a nice bowl and put it into a sack and then hit it with a hammer. The kids were all so stunned! They were just sitting there looking at her like she was crazy. That is one story they will not forget.
