"Love at Home" Preschool Co-op

This year three other moms and I are planning to have a Preschool Co-op for our 4 year olds. We have made plans to meet once a week and take turns teaching. We would like to meet more often, but we are all very busy with other responsibilities.

We have planned in to take a feild trip on every 5th week, so that means each mom only teaches every 6th week.
Ady is really excited about it and I am too.

Zoo Feild Trip

Tayden's class took a field trip to the Indianapolis Zoo.

Dave took the day off from work to go with him. They had a nice day together. Dave took a few pictures with his phone since he didnt want to lug the camera around.

Oh how we love them

School Pictures are always a tough choice. Our school does them in the fall for the official ones and then again in the spring they have optional ones. In the fall you pay up front, but the spring ones you get to see them before you pay. I usually buy the cheapest package in the fall and then end up liking the spring pictures better. Anyway, this past spring we had sort of forgotten it was picture day. Kyler's picture was ok, but nothing too special, so we did not buy it. Tayden's cracked us up!! Only one background option was used for the boys at his school (they were at different elementary schools). Why in the world would the only background option be this one? Strange. I wonder if anyone bought them.

School Pictures

The boys got their school pictures back a few weeks ago and they are not great.  Kyler's is almost identical to last years with the same cheesy fake grin.  Both boys have their eyebrows raised oddly like the photographer suggested to them that that might be a good idea.  I am surprised that Tayden's is so bad since he usually does a really good job smiling for pictures.  I think next year I won't buy school pictures.  It is too much of an unknown.  I cant be there to tell them to smile right or see and approve the picture before I am stuck with $30 worth of cheesy grins.

So here they are. Please post a comment to let me know what you think.  Are they as bad as I think they are?

I took Ady to get her picture taken at about the same time so I would have nice portraits of her too.  Hers turned out excellent.  She looks so grown up.

I spent a little more than I had planned to on Ady's pictures, but I wasn't expecting them to be so great.  I couldn't pass them up. Doesn't she look so old?
